I have more than a decade of experience in media and the creative industries, previously founding Spark in the Dark Productions Limited, and notably delivered the 250th anniversary campaign for London’s premiere embroidery company, Hand & Lock, working with some of the biggest names in the fashion industry.
In 2014 I secured an international distribution deal for the feature film I wrote and directed, having previously developed a number of award-winning short films and a range of educational resources.
Immediately prior to establishing Obrizum Media, I was the head of video at Obrizum Group; and before this a Shooting Editor for Heni Talks. Here I worked with world renowned artists and art historians to deliver documentaries on Art and Art History for use in A Level education. Heni Talks won the Apollo Award for Digital Innovation of the Year in 2018.

Projects
- Getting To Know Daniel Zeichner, MPDocumentary produced for the Labour Party on the Cambridge constituency candidate Daniel Zeichner. The film was shot over one morning, and consisted of an informal sit down interview over a cup of coffee, and shadowing him for the morning. I asked him about himself, his background, education, how he met his partner, what got him into politics in the first place, and his hopes and plans for the future of Cambridge. This film was used in the election campaign, playing a part in getting him elected.
- Flying A KiteShort - 25 mins Keith and John, two old friends from college have fallen into a lifestyle of chronic drinking. Nothing looks like it will ever change. And then Keith's girlfriend has a miscarriage, he isn't there for her, she dumps him and he is forced to take stock. He realises it is time to move out of John's flat and start a new life.
- Yoghurt‘Yoghurt’, a short drama, tells the story of Leo, a young man in his twenties , who returns home from the weekly food shop to his flat which he shares with his girlfriend Amber. She helps him unpack, but tensions rise when it comes to light the item she specifically asked for has been forgotten, which prompts a dissection of their entire relationship.
- Through The LensFeature film - 100 mins Set in the near future, the financial crisis has escalated, the UK has become a satellite state of the US. Public service privatisation and increased mass unemployment figures have spurred years of strikes, riots, and widespread disruption. In response government restrictions on Internet and social media sites have been implemented, a private contractor the Internet Protection Agency (IPA) has been put in charge of policing the restricted Internet, arresting computer fugitives, and taking charge of advanced public surveillance. The film’s narrative follows Anthony who has interrupted his studies at university to look after his younger sister Sam after the disappearance of their parents. Anthony and Sam’s parents were part of a group of politically motivated hackers called ‘The Movement’ that has been targeted by the Internet Protection Agency. Key players in the The Movement have been arrested in an attempt to stop leaked files from the IPA archives, documenting evidence of its brutal restrictive practices, being made accessible to the general public. When Anthony lands a job working in the records room at the IPA, he begins to discover the untold story behind his parents’ disappearance. Distributed by Continuum Motion Pictures, MCTV, through Entertainment One (eOne). Available in North America, fall 2014 on various platforms including iTunes, Playstation, Xbox, Google Play and Amazon Digital.
