About me
Oscar Maia is a Graphic Designer and Art Director based in the city of Porto, Portugal. With a career nearly a decade old, he’s been having the pleasure of working on great projects alongside wonderful and talented people.
Until 2014 he was part of former Atelier Martino&Jaña’s core team. From that year onto 2017, he collaborated as Senior Designer and Art Director with multidisciplinary award-winning White Studio.
Specialised in developing creative strategies applied on print, editorial, branding and webdesign, today he works on a freelance basis with a wide range of clients dedicated to the cultural and comercial fields.
His work is described as aesthetically simple and bold, steadily balancing great attention to detail with typography and composition.
