About me
I am an aspiring brand and marketing executive with a particular interest and passion for contemporary culture, fashion and design. I am due to graduate with a BA (Hons) degree in Fashion Marketing & Branding from Nottingham Trent University in 2019. I am an articulate problem solver with exceptional people skills.
I am now keen to secure work experience and/or internships. I am confident and hard working. I am reliable and able to manage my time effectively. I am punctual and have excellent attendance records. I am able to present ideas in groups and will always ask if I need help (I don’t suffer in silence). I follow instructions and I keep a cool head under pressure. I am very structured and goal orientated when delivering projects. I enjoy learning new information and carrying out my own personal research to complete tasks.

I work part-time, between term time, at this award-winning real ale pub in Wimbledon (recently voted Time Out’s Most Loved Pub in 2018). Here I serve customers and manage deliveries. As this is a community pub, I am encouraged to engage in conversation with the customers and locals, which has built my confidence and allowed me to build relations with people from all walks of life.

During the Easter break, I spent two weeks interning at Warehouse Home - a renowned interior design magazine. I was given a wide range of tasks, including: writing blog posts, carrying out research for articles, finding and sourcing images, managing social media and completing admin tasks. During this time I gained a strong understanding of how new editions of magazines are created - from ideas to publication. I worked very closely with the editor of the magazine who trusted me enough to provide content for the magazine despite my short time there.
