About me
I like spending time with people. I am the instigator of many trips with friends, organising and ensuring a trip happens! I love creating short mini films. I have done a number of films, and entered a film for Independent directions The Indies Young Film Maker Award. Filming allows people to see a different perspective, I have filmed area in Leeds at night and day capturing the vibrancy of the city and the diversity of people it encompasses. Along with filming I love photography. I was never good at drawing but wanted to find some way to capture a portrait of something and through filming discovered photography. I am also active with social media recognising its value in networking globally!

    The Big QuestionThe film The Big Question was produced as part of the BFI Film Academy, Leeds it was one of two films from cohort 4.

    I undertook a job role as an extra being a bike messenger in the new film Tomb Raider. As a film student it gave me an insight. I chose to stay on set in between takes shadowing the cameraman to gain an insight into the film industry.

    I undertook a 2 year course at Leeds city college. There I had a role in making various films such as music videos and documentaries to short films.

    When studying at Leeds city college I was offered a place on a course hosted by the Beta film work in association with BFI and endorsed by BAFTA. We were taught how to make film from start to finish. I was tasked with the role of producer and had 24hrs to get two actors for the film with no money. I still have no idea how many acting schools I emailed however it paid off in the end. The film won a Golden Owl in the KS5 category.
