During my placement year I worked for Ulster University as the Web & Multimedia Content Designer for the School of Art, Design and the Built Environment (Belfast Campus).
My role involved helping the School of ADBE create and maintain a consistent web presence in line with the other faculties within the University as it went through the recent rebranding. I also designed web and print content for events within the school, including opening evenings and information days, as well as edited and proofed content for the Faculty and School websites. I was also lead the creation of digital 'Welcome Packs' for incoming freshers to the School of Architecture, School of Art and School of the Built Environment.

In my final year, my focus will be on designing a conceptual product which integrates Mixed Reality and Sign Language (BSL) education and translation. This will involve designing a seamless user experience taking accessibility into consideration in both a mobile application and a physical interface, as well as the full UI design and concept creation. This will involve skills such as Illustration, UX/UI Design, Web Development (HTML, CSS, JS), Character Design and 2D Animation.
