About me
Strategic multidisciplinary professional. I explore how we can design as ecologies, not individuals. My mission in life is to uncover how we (humans) can design as ecologies, rather than as individuals. I work in the space between project management and storytelling, so I can accompany the projects I work on in both practical and creative ways — navigating the balance between being inspirational and impactful. With a background in Geography and Futures Design, I initially worked in urban agriculture in an effort to reconcile cities and their food sources, but soon realised it was the materiality of our cities that was the larger issue. That our future materials could be grown, alive, textured. Having just finished an MA in “Design for Emergent Futures” I am searching for a role in the impact space.

  • A London Micro-Medicinal Cordyceps Farm
A London Micro-Medicinal Cordyceps FarmIn this initiative, I successfully harnessed the potential of spent brewery grain from a local brewery by cultivating Cordyceps Militaris, a valuable medicinal mushroom. The process involved transforming waste into a high-value added product, reducing environmental impact and contributing to the health and well-being of our community. Key Features: Sustainable Transformation: My project focused on the sustainable utilization of organic brewery waste, promoting a circular economy and minimizing
  • Electric Skin
Electric SkinA new biomaterial that can generate electricity. Spearheading a revolution in the energy industry. Can we use proteins to generate the power we need? Can our Energy future be grown - Not extracted?
  • Future Cravings
Future CravingsDesign of experiences at the intersection of gastronomy and materiality. For each gathering, we convene an interdisciplinary group of practitioners and facilitate a thematic conversation that engages all your senses. Dinners where the tableware and food courses are made of echoing ingredients, with a special focus on regenerative resources. The dinner table and its multi-sensory format allows us all to ideate differently around global issues and perhaps find clues / solutions that we might not

At "Just One Giant Lab," my most recent role, I managed both major accounts and independent researchers, guiding them towards our platform solution and assisting them in adopting it. Platform development: - I worked closely with our developers and UX designers to gather customer feedback and collaboratively establish product development priorities. Outreach and Communications; -Supervised two interns with whom I devised agile strategic plans to coordinate our actions with our concurrent responsibilities in community management and communication. -Additionally, I regularly initiated partnerships with private or institutional clients, and it was my responsibility to support them from onboarding to program launch, through to completion and reporting. -I also authored the newsletter, website content, and coordinated the platform's rebranding.

     - London, United KingdomFreelance
Civic.co is organized around the idea that cities across the world fit under specific Archetypes. As the chapter Lead for East London, the archetype I was working with was Regeneration. I was tasked with mapping the resilience of communities in the face of regeneration and working with the neighbourhood of Custom House on 7 abandoned buildings in a High Street. The goal "How do we use these buildings to prototype the future of our neighborhood?" I worked on building relationships and convening a broad range of stakeholders at different levels of seniority. The day to day involved effectively interacting and engaging with multiple groups and types of actors (community members, entrepreneurs, space operators, local government, etc.) and dealing sensitively with complex local issues. I engaged with partners virtually and physically (ventures, individuals, place-based institutions, spaces etc) working to map networks and assets. I searched for funding opportunities on an ongoing basis, completing funding applications and providing reports and summaries to funders and staff team as required. I assisted on the development of funder engagement for the organization as whole. I also co-developed KPIs and metrics as they pertained to impact. I organized and attended weekly project reporting calls, and organized strategy sessions + I contributed to core organization initiatives including the core methodology.
