Palak Garg is an illustrator and painter based in London. Originally from India, she graduated with a BA in Illustration from Camberwell College of Arts in 2024.
Palak's work focuses on her surroundings through a colourful lens inspired by her observations. Her artworks, created using painting and drawing, feature people and places she encounters on her 'illustrated walks'. She likes working with themes of nature, food, art and everyday narratives.
Her illustration work is driven by the presence of quirky characters and personalities that communicate a sense of playfulness. Her work has been applied to editorials, advertising, children's books, and packaging.
Palak’s work has been exhibited across Camberwell gallery space and sold at Not Just A Shop (UAL). Her picture book, 'How To Make Friends With Plants' was highly commended at the Macmillan Prize for Illustration 2023.
Selected clients include UAL Careers and Employability, Costa Coffee, Ratpark Magazine, Illustrators' Fair, Panjshir Aid, Londnr Magazine and Magic Cat Publishing.
