I am a qualified professional Photographer, Filmmaker, Editor and Studio Manager from New Zealand.
After completing a Bachelor of Design and Visual Arts degree, majoring in Photography & Moving Image I began working full time as the Studio Manager for Thievery Studio - this helped me develop great organisation skills and taught me the business acumen required to run a creative studio. I then moved up to working full time as a Photographer, Filmmaker, Editor and Assistant on a variety of shoots. I am also an experienced freelancer, shooting a range of different imagery styles from portraits to music video stills, and documentary short films.
I have many years experience working in hospitality and retail which has aided me in developing great front of house organisation, and client liaison skills.
What I love most about my line of work is interacting with those I’m filming/photographing, and working together to document all the necessary components so that when I edit the images, the elements are bought together to tell their story beautifully.
I pride myself in working in a calm and efficient manner, with a strong attention to detail. I like to create a relaxed environment for the people I am working with by being highly personable and friendly. I am happiest when being productive, organised and fully prepared to focus on producing quality imagery and content for the project at hand.
I have proficient technical skills across an array of professional cameras including: Canon’s 1DXmrkii/5Dmrkiii/C300/C200. I have many years experience with professional lighting gear, lenses and editing programmes such as Adobe Photoshop, Da Vinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Capture One and an array of social media platforms.

- The Big Beach Clean UpEcostore is a New Zealand company which focusses on creating consumables which are as environmentally friendly as possible ~ better for you and the environment. In this video they sponsored a beach clean up in Auckland which was run by Sustainable Coastlines. Over 100 volunteers took time out of their Saturday morning to pick up rubbish at their local beach.
- Subject to ChangeSubject to Change is a short film I made about personality, change & growth. These stills show the eight participants of the film who discuss a number of theories relating to our individual characteristics. I photographed each person in their room offering ideas of each person's personality. Inspired by a podcast episode of Invisibilia, entitled 'The Personality Myth'.
