About me
Rungroj (aka Park) hails from Bangkok (Thailand) via Christchurch (New Zealand). Hollywood (USA) cinema has always been something like a religion to Park, as every Sunday, whilst others attend temple, his dad would drag him to see the hottest and the latest blockbusters at the local cinema by Petchaburi Road. About eight years ago, Park embarked on his filmmaking career where he started off in weddings and events, which somehow led him to TVCs and feature films before relocating to the UK in late 2019 (via New Zealand (Middle Earth)). Park is a firm believer in creating stories for social change which is why he’s studying for his Masters in Media Practice for Social Change and Development at the University of Sussex. When he’s not tinkering with analogue photography or tending to his tomato plants, Park enjoys films by Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Terrence Malick, and David Lowery, to name a few.
