For 20 years, I was Editor of Creative Review, transforming the market-leading title from a monthly print magazine into a multiplatform, modern media brand encompassing digital, social, live events, awards and commercial partnerships and a reinvented print product. Key achievements and skills: Transforming a heritage print brand into a modern, digitally-led subscription business while maintaining profitability. CR never failed to hit budget in 20 years under my Editorship. Reshaping the revenue profile of CR from a reliance on traditional advertising to commercial partnerships which now account for over half commercial revenues. Staff development and retention: I am very proud of the fact that CR has an excellent record of retaining staff, with many team members serving for ten years plus. I have always sought to develop the careers of those working with me to encourage them to reach their full potential. Maintaining CR’s reputation for quality and integrity and leadership in its market. Under my leadership, CR always enjoyed high, positive NPS scores which consistently outperformed the market average.
