I was LinkedIn's 1st sales person outside the US, pioneering LinkedIn's enterprise tools that revolutionized the recruitment industry. LinkedIn's Talent Solutions business combined SaaS recruitment tools, advertising and employer branding campaigns to enable businesses to scale their direct recruitment activities and attract the best talent. Over 7 years I led a total of 30+ sales people in 4 teams and 3 countries. My wonderful new business team of energetic and intelligent sales people consistently exceeded goals, winning a global Top10 award, #1 in EMEA and #1 in UK in consecutive years. Although the UK was our focus, I personally won many early clients in 15 EMEA countries and later my team drove sufficient client volumes in Germany, Italy, Russia, South Africa and the Middle East to support dedicated country teams. My team culture was open and collaborative. I created opportunities to innovate, develop and lead, resulting in my team members being promoted into leadership, senior account management, sales effectiveness, new ventures and international roles.
