About me

An abstract artist selling limited editions of my work through three online galleries. Studied Graphic Design at Liverpool Polytechnic followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Illustration at Central St Martin's College of Art in London's Covent Garden. After a successful career working as an Illustrator, commissioned to create images for magazine and book publishers, a period of ill health forced a change of direction and I turned my focus to the abstract work I'd been creating for pleasure. Over the past few years I've taken part in both the Parallax and Roy's Art Fairs here in London, both great ways to meet and talk to both members of the art loving public and also fellow artists. I've also had work on show at various venues around London including the Mall Galleries, OXO Tower and Candid Arts Trust.   Mailing list headerHad a play around with making an image to use as the image on mail-outs

  Work in progressIt's a pic that I've been working on for some time, keep stopping and then try to come back to it with fresh eyes. I did some work on it yesterday and think I'm happy with it, that it doesn't need anymore work.

  Migrating pics to paulbrownartMoving four small prints to the www.paulbrownart.com gallery so the work is focused there and in the Riseart gallery.

  www.paulbrownart.comManaged to set up a new online gallery which works with my usual printer via Shopify to receive and fulfil orders for limited edition prints, complete with certificate and printed to the same high standards on the usual paper.

  "Internal" orderAn order for a copy of "Internal" came through from Riseart so it's been printed, numbered, signed and sent off to its new home.

  The Holy Art GalleryAn upcoming group show at the Holy Art gallery space in London. The four prints I submitted were all accepted, these are three I had printed last week ready to frame.
