About me
Paul is born in Brittany, France, in 1993. As an active and inventive kid, the necessity of a creative output was required for Paul to found a meaning in his day. Through music, reading, writing or manual activities, he was creating is own world, where he was expressing his emotions and ideas. He specifically remember losing the notion of time when carving wood while listening to artist such as Charles Aznavour or Antonio Vivaldi.
Following his passion for the creative arts, he taught himself how to play the piano and the drums. After graduating from a PA HND, Paul decided to move to London to begin his musical formation. He spent four years studying how to compose, arrange and produce music in a variety of genres. With an attraction for instrumental music, he quickly fell in love with the film scoring process, topic that he will pick later on to a professional standard.
After graduating from his songwriting degree, Paul was commissioned to write and produce music for different film production. According to Paul, film scoring is the union of two powerful channels, Visual and Sound, conveying a meaningful story, that will resonate with the many. Paul is currently composing on a daily basis, with the intention to reveal his abilities to other creatives. Award winning composer, Paul likes to blend different styles of music as well as create his own instruments via sampling methods.
While working as a film composer, Paul also create mainstream instrumental music.Through the pseudonym Oscar Kowalski, he releases piano based music. In addition of being a great experience, this profile allows Paul to connect with labels and publishers as well as instrumentalists around the world.

I was hired to compose the full OST for the short horror movie of director Tim Medcalf. My duties were the following:
- Create theme and leitmotiv in close collaboration with the director.
- Arrange and orchestrate the desired sections.
- Produce all the tracks to a professional standard.
In addition to composing to the image, I have created extended version of the themes, to make it available on all digital platforms.
My work on this production was awarded « Best Soundtrack » by the the V.I.Z film festival.

This one year formation has given me everything
I needed to learn about rhythm.
