About me
I am a highly experienced project, program, and product manager with over 20+ years of experience in a wide range of sectors and company sizes. My work over that time has changed and has generally reflected the current commercial or technical issues of the day, which has allowed me to stay in touch with industry trends and best practices.
In recent years, my focus has been on the integration of marketing, sales, and product technologies (GTM) in both B2B and B2C environments, seem to be gaps here for a number of companies. I have developed an understanding of the challenges that arise when trying to align these three functions, and have developed strategies and processes to overcome these challenges and ensure success. I am well-versed in a variety of marketing and sales tools, including marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and lead generation tools, and I have experience integrating these tools with product development processes to create a seamless customer journey.
Prior to my fractional work, I had a technical career working on early IOT computing, which included machine code programming. This technical background has given me a strong foundation in software development, and I am able to work closely with development teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
I also have extensive experience in operations and people management, having built and run all the call centres for the launch of the Orange network. This experience has given me a deep understanding of how to manage large teams of people, optimise operations for maximum efficiency, and ensure that customer needs are always met.
Finally, my sales career generating over a billion in contracted sales has honed my skills in communication, negotiation, and relationship-building. I have a track record of building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and I am able to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
