I incorporate my knowledge in Anthropology into filmmaking. I love watching, hearing, sharing, and telling stories, and my passion for understanding different cultures and the individuals within those cultures keeps me constantly wanting to learn more. Working in different cities around the world (and figuring out what I love doing in the process) has given me the best years of my life and has made me a highly empathetic professional. I have worked in Colombia, the US, the UK, and Australia on multiple projects including short films, advertisements, online content, documentaries, and music videos. For me, the most rewarding thing about filmmaking is having an impact. This wouldn't be possible without a great team and a collaborative work culture, which is why I'm always looking to connect with inspiring people from all around the world.
I care about the stories I tell, so I always make sure to maintain clear communication. This allows me to understand the brief for a project and any relevant instructions from a client, create a good workflow, clarify whenever there is something unclear, and deliver to a high standard. Without a doubt, I enjoy my job more when I am proactive because I feel more invested and motivated. My work philosophy is that good organisation and having fun make the perfect match in the creative industry.
Being a digital native with 6 years of experience in video production and editing, I am constantly learning about marketing, innovation, and social media, which has expanded my career goals. Those years have given me experience managing teams, implementing strategies, supervising processes, and creating high-quality content. I want to keep making meaningful and interesting content because I understand the impact that has on people. I now want to expand the size of the teams I manage and take on new challenges.
