I’m not a pro photographer, to be honest, I do not like to call myself a photographer at all. I’d rather be called a storyteller. My photos are the stories I fail to put into words. Because when words become unclear, you always have photos. It’s a way of feeling, of loving, of touching. I would like to give you a chance to empathise, to consider the experience of someone else’s life. I am making photographs to understand what my life means to me, what OUR lives mean to US. It’s one thing to make a picture of what a person looks like, it’s another thing to make a portrait of who they are. Love being able to show their beauty through my camera and use it as an extension of myself to tell stories that they want to hear and what I want to remember. Because it makes me feel something. A moment that moves you enough to capture it. The crooked line of a smile that reaches the heart straight.
