London, United KingdomFull Time
I currently work as a copywriter for Macmillan's in-house creative team. One of the biggest projects I've worked on is our quarterly supporter magazine, Your Mac News. There is a huge amount of work that goes into each edition involving editorial decisions, interviewing people affected by cancer and writing lots and lots and lots of articles.
I've also worked on posters, Facebook posts, tweets, the Macmillan website, e-cards, event installations, merchandise and DM for a range of internal and external communication.
An additional part of my role is to train others and I regularly conduct sessions (usually with a co-presenter) on 'Writing for Macmillan' and 'Brand and Be.Mac'. I've also co-presented sessions on the Macmillan brand at the 2015 staff conference.
