A textile, print and visual art designer born in Taiwan, currently based in Helsinki. Before committing to the textile design field, she has worked as a visual designer for four years across diverse industries. Inspired by her graphic design background, she has adopted whimsical visual narratives to textile. Through the use of colours, forms and materials, she keens to tell stories which evokes latent emotions in her audience and bring fantasy to everyday life. Driven by the desire to create immersive experiences, she embraces the use of multimedia to engage different senses during the user-product interaction.

Pattern Lab is a yearly textile and surface design project at Aalto University. The student-run team supervised by professor Maarit Salolainen is a professional level company that sells patterns in Finland and international markets.
In this project, I created 30 ingenious surface designs including prints and woven samples based on three jointly-developed moodboards and colour schemes. The surface design collections were presented to different companies as well as at Heimtextil 2019 in Frankfurt, Germany. At the end of the project, my prints were sold to Finnish clothing brands a Belgian home textile company.

Working as the design assistance in Nellystella, I was responsible for the design of prints, embroidery motifs, pompoms as well as colourways development and coordination for SS 2018 collection. I also developed the moodboard and colour map for FW 2018 collection. In addition to the design task, my job also involved in creating the tech packs for production and communicating with the material suppliers and factories. Moreover, I participated in the collection photoshoot and edited the photos for the lookbook.
