About me
I’m Interactive Creative Director, specialized in digital media, design and communications. I have developed professional activities in New York, London, Stockholm and Valencia, working together with people from very different cultural and professional backgrounds. Passionate about the use of technology for the defense of human rights, I have launched innovative advocacy projects such as Listen to Help –the world’s first global fundraising campaign on Spotify, which was shared even by Spotify’s founder, Daniel Ek–; and Meanwhile in Brazil –a visual newsfeed that contrasted daily on-pitch action with protests in the streets during the 2014 World Cup–. Both projects attracted the attention of the media around the world. In 2012 I founded Workether, one of the first technology coworking space in Spain, where I hosted events for Mozilla, Wikimedia, Startup Weekend, Red Bull and Microsoft, amongst others. Previously, as an alumni of BBH London and Hyper Island (“The Digital Harvard” – Robert Schwartz, Global Creative President, TBWA), I designed advertising campaigns for clients such as Google, Audi, British Airways and Virgin Media, working with industry awarded professionals. Projects
  • Listen to Help
Listen to HelpDesigning the world’s first global fundraising campaign on Spotify. Sound Seekers, a charity dedicated to helping deaf and hearing impaired people in the developing world, wanted to drive fundraising among a young and digital native target audience. The Listen to Help campaign aims to help those who can hear to raise money for those who can’t. On Spotify, artists receive a royalty every time someone plays one of their songs, so we had the idea that if we could create a track without an artist
  • Blind Carbon Copy
Blind Carbon CopyBrief This is a campaign submitted to the Young Glory Awards, judged by AKQA’s Chief Executive Officer, Rei Inamoto. The brief was to come up with an idea that would make people across the world turn an action into a habit. It could be: Saving energy Planting trees Driving less Etc And to find an organization(s) of our choice – for-profit or non-profit – to work with in order to spread the action. Solution The sentence “please consider the environment before printing this email” is widespread accross our inboxes. We are aware that paper comes from cutting down trees, but we are not so aware that to power the Internet we also need to cut down trees. Therefore, with the Blind Carbon Copy campaign we want to say “please consider the environment before sending this email“. To make a powerful statement, we created Blind Carbon Copy, a live e-mail signature that allows users to visualize the digital carbon footprint generated by their e-mail activity.
  • British Airwasy Print Campaign
British Airwasy Print CampaignBrief These three executions are part of a BBH London campaign for British Airways. British Airways wanted to advertise new business routes and the benefits of their Executive Club. Solution One of the most vital items for business travellers are the international travel adaptors. The goal of this campaign was to compare the convenience of such items to the convenience of the new BA routes and rewards. The images feature a play on European travel adaptors and show iconic city business buildings as pins on the plugs.

Just before graduating from Hyper Island I decided to launch my own venture: Workether, the international tech coworking space and interactive agency based of Valencia, Spain. Responsibilities: • Creative, design and strategic direction for national and international clients, including digital product design, UI/UX and interaction design, business model design, ideation and production of interactive advertising campaigns and web design and development. • Lead and unified a multidisciplinary team of developers, designers, journalists, marketers and engineers across projects, identifying creative opportunities, shaping strategy, and steering people and projects in the right direction. • Managed clients and established key partnerships. • Implemented innovative team management tools and group dynamics. • Designed workshops and talks about innovation and creativity. • Nurtured local startup and tech communities (Valencia Startups, Valencia.rb, Frontenders, Google Developers Group Valencia) • Designed, organized and hosted events and hackathons (NASA International Space Apps Challenge 2014, Team Up Valencia, Windows Megathon 2013, Digital DUMBO Valencia 2012, Mozilla Hispano Valencia, Red Bull Music Academy 2012)
