About me

Hello, I am Pepe Farrés, from Majorca. My 11 years of experience as Creative Art Director and Designer in Advertising Agencies showed me… Showed me to love when things have a concept to be developed, when everything has its meaning when seeing a beautiful design. I believe a lot in love at first sight and that can only be achieved with good exercise. Showed me that it is essential to invest time, love and efforts selecting the right materials that should bring brilliance to a graphic work, which the final result is subject to execution in most cases. Showed me to enjoy making the client be aware of the work that I have done, explaining why I have arrived there and how. Everything makes more sense then. Showed me that be able to implement that design in a 360 experience for a client is basic. An immersive experience within the brand, to record in your memory. A feeling of satisfaction and well-being that you never expected. This can only be sold in one way, showing it, making mockups to make the client satisfied with the result. Showed me to love working as a team, because it’s the only way to achieve excellence. I really enjoy when someone teach and show me things I don’t know, open my eyes into a different worlds, and when I can advise and share with those who ask me. In order to undertake all the activities I have named before, I have a strong experience handling Adobe CC. An After Effects course I did at the UAL will help to develop different exercises. Also Premiere Pro helps me to create video concepts. All this passion is due to a background from a family that loves art and the great learning I received at the design school, where I graduated in Palma de Mallorca 12 years ago, BLAU ESCOLA DE DISSENY. Right now in London, I breathe fresh air, cool design, cool techniques, cool people and all that makes my motivation grow as do my desire to learn and be a better person and designer every day.
