About me
A service and experience designer for Barclays' new Design Lab. Working on new product innovation in the world of fin tech. Previous work includes Nokia UK, and creating the Rain Room for rAndom International, exhibiting at the Barbican in London, and the MOMA in New York.
Projects
  • RAIN ROOM
RAIN ROOMRain Room is a hundred square metre field of falling water through which it is possible to walk, trusting that a path can be navigated, without being drenched in the process. As you progress through The Curve, the sound of water and a suggestion of moisture fill the air, before you are confronted by this carefully choreographed downpour that responds to your movements and presence.
  • Behaviour
BehaviourTaking advantage of human subconscious behaviours can provide intrigue, excitement and sustainability opportunities. This product aims to attract this behaviour. As people sweep their hands through, piezo-ceramic fibres built into the stems generate small amounts of energy as they flex. This is enough to send signals to mobile devices or generate a flow of light through the installation.
  • Escalator Space
Escalator SpaceBarclays in collaboration with TechStars and Central Working launch a working space for startups in Whitechapel, London. I developed an interactive art wall for the space that allowed people to physically post thoughts, requests, events and ideas. Using these colour coded catorgories the wall organically develops patterns that constantly evolve as new exciting things happen in the space.
