10 years’ worth of experience in the professional field designing graphics for a
range of content and output; with over 5 years of experience in creating motion

Day to day duties involves working as part of a dedicated graphics team and aiding
producers and designers with the completion and delivery of a variety of graphics
requisitions for both live on-the-day output as well as planned future projects.
• Working as part of diverse team of designers alongside Juniors, Senior designers and
Creative Directors and taking and giving direction where needed.
• Attending briefing meetings and making notes on provisional programme output to relay
back to the graphics team to prepare for the day ahead and attending de-brief meetings
once on-the-day output has aired.
• Creating detailed maps for various news stories including disputed territories using both
Adobe CS and Bespoke Mapping software (Viz World Classic).
• Specific departments/programmes worked on within the BBC News platform are:
BBC World News, BBC National News Six/Ten, BBC WS (World Service,) 2020/Global
Languages, Digital Motion Design – ‘Quibi: Around the World' programme, Newsnight.
