An experienced freelance front-end web developer; currently splitting my time between a number of different digital agencies across the UK and clients in London including The Economist, MTV, Topshop and Jaeger. Specialising in front-end/user interface (UI) development and/or WordPress, Adept at coming in and getting straight to work. Every agency (or in-house team) works slightly differently and the trick is to be able to absorb those nuances and create work that fits in with the flow of the in-house team. My job is to finish the project I’ve been assigned, impart some of the techniques I’ve learnt elsewhere (without, of course, ruffling feathers) and then move onto the next project without the permanent developers cursing the code I’ve left behind.
Working with established agencies like Transform, Fluxx and Tribal Worldwide in London, 383 Project in Birmingham, cxpartners in Bristol, AREA 17 in New York/Paris, Code Computerlove and LOVE in Manchester has given Phil the opportunity to perfect his skills on global brands like Playstation, EA Games, Diageo, The Rolling Stones and Manchester United.
