About me
I am an illustrator from and based in Portsmouth and recently completed my BA (hons) Illustration degree at the University of Portsmouth. I absolutely love working with hand-lettered type, especially as a method of depicting the natural world (I really enjoy the challenge of turning things into letters). I like to create bold and colourful work and have experience with digital illustration, traditional drawing, book cover design, riso-printing, repeat patterns & book-binding.

- BiotopiaBiotopia is a project which was started as part of my self-directed project during my final year of university, and is a venture that I am continuing to develop. Biotopia is a leporello-style book which includes a typographic inside cover that features an array of plant and animal species, and a digitally illustrated 5-panel example of the main concertina. - Made In PortsmouthThis was part of my entry to the University’s 'Made in Portsmouth' competition. This typographic poster was drawn in adobe illustrator and uses colours which emanate Portsmouth’s unique seaside. Being from Portsmouth myself, I wanted to include all the places that I felt were important within the city and the surrounding area, but also places that were significant to myself.
- Australian Animal Risograph PostersI was completely in awe of Australia and its wildlife during my time travelling up the East Coast in 2015. I used my experience to respond to a print menagerie brief, and illustrated four posters consisting of animals and hand-lettering which I riso-printed in multiple layers.
