Was my first staffing job being in charge of a large group of people for the UK’s biggest festival. Main duties were :
Hiring over 200+ staff eligible for working behind a bar and in the VIP section (bartenders, managers, cash managers, bar stock)
Managing and being a team leader of all staff (answering all questions and queries and sorting out all rotas for each person and bar)
Making sure everyone attends their shifts on time and is healthy and able to work accordingly
If anyone was unwell it was my duty to take them to the medical unit or escort them back to camp base
Giving everyone their bands for the festival, camp base unit and VIP pass
Walking around the festivals to see/check which bar is the most busy during different periods of the day
Holding zoom sessions for the team before arriving to give them information on what they’ll be doing day to day
Creating pdf and documents for the staff of important items to bring, all information of arriving, directions of the festival.
