Sitting inside both FLANNELS and House of Fraser, I work with the Editorial Lead to create
engaging editorial, on-site, email, social, product and in-store copy. I research, interview,
transcribe, and build original HTML editorial content in our CMS for both FLANNLES Style
News and House of Fraser’s Ideas and Inspiration blog. As the sole copywriter across both
brands, I assure that house style and tone of voice is maintained across both websites. I
curate and manage the monthly blog calendar, maintain SEO best practice across all
posts, and work with SEO specialists to track data analytics to improve site reach and
rankings.

Supporting the wider commercial marketing team, I was in charge of all copy across the Body & Toiletries category and Makeup category. I created product copy, campaign copy, optimized blogs, emails and social media content with the aim of supporting new product launches. I was delighted to have been awarded the highest internal grade for a spread I created and launched alongside our new neuro-marketing approach. I owned the development of a new skincare collection, naming the range and creating a unique TOV - this collection will launch later this summer. I was also an Editor of the Avon Loves Blog, writing posts and articles focusing on products and beauty trends. One of my articles
focused on the rising trend of vitamin D, it reached UK customers so well that it was translated and published across various other Avon markets.
