Pierre is a researcher, educator, author and architect (ARB) specialising in the field of political and spatial practices.
He is a PhD candidate graduate researcher in Critical Spatial Practices and Pedagogy at the University for the Creative Arts, Canterbury under the supervision of Professor Catherine Rossi and Dr Kim Trogal.
In his role as Associate Lecturer at the RCA he is assistant lead of the superFUTURES platform within the School of Architecture specialising in Speculative Spatial Design, drawing on aspects of Futures, Foresight, Strategy and Narrative World-building.
As Co-founding Director of School SOS, Pierre's research focus for equitable and ethical forms of spatial design research is practiced at an executive level for the charitable purpose of widening participation in spatial justice.
Pierre has been published in the Architects Journal, Blueprint Magazine, e-flux Architecture and held research fellowships with the British Council and CAMPO in Rome. His research has been presented internationally including ESLTIS24 and the upcoming 4th Valencia International Biennial of Research in Architecture. He is a visiting critic at the Architectural Association, University of Toronto, Oxford Brookes, amongst others.
Alongside research in architecture, he is a practising architect working across typologies and was awarded the RIBA London Award (2018) as part of his previous team at Stirling Prize winners, Haworth Tompkins.
