Born and bred in Milan, Italy, I am now based between my native city and Copenhagen.
I was brought up with a classical humanistic education and culture, specialising in Italian literature and philosophy, before I went to European Film College in 2017/2018 to grow as an independent filmmaker.
I worked as a freelance film critic during my last years of high school for tasteofcinema.com and I was part of the jury at the young/adult section of the Rome Film Festival.
Last year I worked as assistant director for two main productions for the Theatre Elfo Puccini in Milan and, at the same time, as a second assistant director at the Franco Parenti Theatre.
I am currently finishing my latest short film, "All Mortal Flesh", while I work as a freelancer in Copenhagen.
My work is deeply inspired by my cultural roots and by a fascination for the evanescence of time and how it affects both our psyche, our lifestyle, our bodies and the objects around it. I am interested to capture these both on camera and, mainly, in the stories I want to tell using it.
