About me
Pol Solsona has a decade of experience working with national and international clients across multiple disciplines. Having lived in Barcelona, Helsinki & New York and worked with 20 different nationalities has given him a worldwide vision of the design culture and creative thinking.
After working with the biggests advertising agencies in Finland and international well-known designers like Stefan Sagmeister & Jessica Walsh, Pol is now running his own practice in Barcelona.
Projects
- Luxbag HelsinkiLuxbag supplies luxury designer bags and accesories from high end brands such as Céline, Balenciaga, Givenchy, Lanvin, Fendi, Loewe and Valextra. Their new flagship store opened in the beginning of 2014 on Pohjois-Esplanadi – a central design and shopping street in Helsinki. The brand identity needed an upgrade that would carry out the promise of luxury. The logo was replenished and a new typeface was introduced. These were used on a new web page, business cards, statonary and shopping bags. T
- Embassa't Still LifeSabadell Sona is a non-profit organization that promotes local and national artists by arranging cultural events. Their main event is Embassa’t, a festival that introduces alternative music and emerging artists. The 8th edition of Embassa’t Music Festival takes place in a public pool in between factories. Turtles, dolphins and sea creatures were planing to get to the most colourful event of the year, but on their way there, they died of thirstiness and pollution

Their 8th edition, communicates a playful event, where dead sea creatures arrive to an afterlife world. The only thing that matters is to have fun and dance like there is no tomorrow.
- Still Life x LuxbagFor their 2014 website campaign I was in charge of the art direction and photo shoot of some of the brands that they supply. The combination of construction materials used in the interior of their store and the brands bags, highlight the quality and style of their products, and at the same time, it creates a connection between the on-line site and the phisical store.
