- Work covers producing short and long form, email, and social content for a diverse set of clients ranging from Ecommerce to the Pharmaceutical industry. - Building on the foundation of my previous role at Three Whiskey, I continue to develop copywriting and editorial skills through work on ad copy development and the production of B2B and B2C materials and resources. - Tight deadlines and quick turnarounds mean that communication, versatility, and willingness to adapt are key to the smooth running of our small two-woman department.
- A practical training role with a cross-departmental structure allowing insight into all aspects of Three Whiskey's digital marketing scope. - Tasks covered paid, earned, and owned media and focused on developing my digital marketing knowledge through on-the-job training. - Although I soon felt the pull of content and social, I thoroughly enjoyed the research and paid media tasks which included in-depth work in Microsoft Excel and on Google Adwords and Analytics platforms. [Google Analytics and Google Adwords certified].

CREDITS: - Created and collaborated on a vast number of creative projects whilst at University in Durham including; - A series of poetry for International Women's Week Campaign. - Artistic design/direction for a production of Sarah Kane's 'Blasted'. - Creation and implementation of regular open mic nights as encouragement for new and emerging writers in Durham to test out new work and ideas and meet other creatives. MAJOR PROJECT TO DATE: 'The House of Usher' (2015). (Wrote and Co-Directed) DETAILS: Approaching Gothic poetry from a sensory angle, we used all areas in a largely derelict building on Durham’s riverside to recreate(/resurrect) the archaic imagination of Edgar Allan Poe. These included; - Cellar for wine tasting with a sadistic sommelier. - Toilets used as locations for characters with vanity disorders using mirrors and light trickery to conceal and reveal. - Working bar with cocktails designed for the evening. - Table at which to play cards with the devil and her Mephistopheles-esque puppet - a man who’d sold his soul (and his head) in a bet. - Artists’ lounge complete with easels and a somewhat affected life drawing model. Although this was a small-scale experience, perfecting the timing felt like a military operation. Our budget was £100 and we spent most of it on wine (used in the show) which meant obtaining and designing the set, sound, lighting and promotional materials was a feat of the imagination. This project was my proudest moment. I genuinely think that it challenged students at Durham to consider theatre in a new light and reviews reflected this. I’ve never worked harder (much to the displeasure of my dissertation supervisor) and didn’t know I was capable of the end product until it was complete.
