I have just graduated from The University of Edinburgh with a first class degree in Fashion Design. As well as having developed a broad range of design skills during my studies, my time in Edinburgh has given me the confidence to develop ideas and solve problems culminating in the development of an innovative fabric I conceived and then used to create an exciting final degree collection. I am very commercially aware and have enjoyed a diverse portfolio of work experience over the past seven years. This has given me exposure to PR, Marketing & Communications, Graphic Design, Product Development, Buying and Sourcing, Market Research and Trend-forecasting. Having grown up in Asia, I enjoy travelling and embracing different cultures. As well as constantly informing and influencing my work, this has given me an understanding of the global fashion industry and associated creative industries. My final university dissertation focused on the challenges and opportunities facing the luxury market in China with particular reference to the importance of the historic trade connections between the Eastern and Western world.Locked Pro Plan feature
