About me
A physics graduate with a keen interest in working in a team to further my skills as a film maker. Proven track record of being self-motivated and an ability to problem solve under pressure as shown by the various films I have produced whilst being a student. I have been fortunate enough to learn from diverse teams from the laboratory to the office rooms at Channel 4. I hope to apply the skill set I have learned to new challenges within an industry.

I was fortunate enough to receive the opportunity to write an episode in series 2 of the BBC 3 short documentary series “Body Language.” I got to work with and learn from Emmy nominated director Sindha Agha. Together we worked in turning my pitch into a thesis. The episode I worked on is currently the highest viewed episode in series 2 and the second highest episode of the show with a gaining of over 600,000 views on YouTube.

I volunteered at the Sundance Film Festival in London as part of their venue staff. I was tasked with a variety of activities from chaperoning audience members, welcoming film makers as well as putting up posters around Picture House Central. This role required me to adapt quickly in a fast pace environment in order to solve problems as they arose. I learnt a great deal about this side of the industry as well as from the documentary film makers there.

    BSc Physics Durham University
     - Durham, United Kingdom
During my degree I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of different environments. These environments have included laboratory projects as well as working as part of a team to research for a local company. The varying nature of these environments has taught me to adapt and think critically in order to fulfil each project’s needs.
