I'm a Fashion Promotion and Imaging student at University for the Creative Arts, going into second year. I also run TheHashtag MagazineLocked Pro Plan feature
I am responsible for updating contents on social media, creating ideas for the brand's marketing strategy. I have also helped in the production of their lookbook photoshoot
I started my magazine initially to fill up my spare time alongside my studies. As my main priority was my studies, I only did the minimal to this project. However, as I had more time during the summer, I began to work on it every day, making it my priority to get it reached out to as many people as possible and to get other people involved in the creation of the issues. The magazine gradually gained more popularity and I was able to contact well-known establishments such as galleries to feature their exhibitions and artists, as well as PRs from fashion shows to feature upcoming designers and directors of the show
I was responsible for making sure the press book of newspaper and magazine clippings were in order and updated. I collected and delivered hats from the studio or showroom to clients as well as preparing these hats to be delivered to these clients. I collected contact details of all the press that showed Philip Tracy's work and was responsible for admin work such as picking up the phone, emails and welcoming any guests.
I wrote a weekly fashion blog with topics given from the fashion editor, sometimes my own. I had the chance to go to a press event, got introduced to upcoming designers and through that I started creating my own network, contacting them for pieces for shoots and as well as features to start my first magazine http://www.theclothesmaiden.com/?s=Priscilla+Aroean&submit=Search
