Leadership Programme: Semi-FinalistCoventry City of Culture 2021
I attended a series of group focused workshops and activities held by the hosts of the City of Culture trust and partners and worked within these teams to generate ideas on how to put into focus and celebrate the creativity and diversity of the culture in our city. Through this, I gained insights into leadership and experience in public speaking and teamwork. The outcome of this programme was to develop and introduce our own unique concept that would enhance the city’s culture and inspire social change; I created and pitched the idea of a centralised creative studio hub for the city centre, which landed me the position as a semi-finalist of a cohort of 45.
