About me
I have a great deal of workshop experience in both commercial and educational environments. Currently I work as metal technician in a bespoke fabrication workshop in north London. Specialising in non-ferrous light fabrication, I am versatile across a wide range of processes, including TiG, MiG, soft and hard soldering.
Prior to working in North London I worked in Wanaka, New Zealand for a metal fabricators where the mainstay was mild steel non-structural work such as gates, privacy screens and furniture.
Before working in New Zealand I spent 6 years working as a workshop technician at both Manchester and Norwich School of Art for 3 years each. I instructed students in a range of metal work skills such as bronze casting, mild steel fabrication and small scale metal work.
I have experience with gallery and site fabrication, having installed work at secret garden party festival and working for galleries such as Kettles Yard, Smiths Row and Wysing Arts Centre.
