Rachael Cheong (1994) is a fashion designer and artist from Singapore who graduated from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (KABK).
Rachael’s primary source of inspiration comes from the dark side of life, especially the inherent evil in all human beings. She translates this into garments and manipulated textiles that revolve around the body. At the same time she seeks to redefine, question and ridicule established norms while making the darkness (that we refuse to acknowledge) ever more tangible.
In her free time Rachael collects antique dolls and objects, attends concerts and scours ebay for Sailor Moon merchandise.
