As a designer I want to influence the way people think and feel. Every project has its own unique approach, crafting a strong narrative and creating a conceptual grounding. I believe in a clean, minimal, and bold approach to design: it’s as much about what is left out, as what is included. Through attention to detail, commercial knowledge, and strategic reasoning I am able to fulfil and go beyond the clients expectations, producing relevant, thought-provoking and considered design.
Projects
- Credo Brand Identity, Guidelines & Business CollateralNo bluff. No Bullshit. A straight talking ‘sleeves rolled up’ brand which specialises in leadership and resilience development. The brand identity needed to stand out in a corporate sterile environment. I took a contemporary twist on the (Founders) traditional military colours, and created a conversational logo type with a bold statement strap-line.
- Brand Identity & Web DesignThe name The Barn was inspired by the story of what was once a run down cow shed. Nestled within The Black Mountains, a hidden self-catering retreat awaits. The branding evokes the feeling of being in the hills and mountains - inspired by nature, in which The Barn resides. Taking on the re-design of The Barn involved a whole new brand identity, art direction for a photographic shoot, and redesign of their website and business collateral.

Working with clients on their brand identity, packaging, website design, and brand interiors. I am enjoying working closely with my clients to realise their ambitions. With 5 years of solid design experience in both small and large award-winning design agencies, I have a breadth of experience, designing small brand identities, to place-making campaigns, to challenging brand guidelines and improving their visual identity. I relish projects which involve thorough research,
and transforming these into thought-provoking and powerful designs.

- Brick Ln, London, UKFull Time
Lead designer for The Bentall Centre Kingston, heading up their new website, quarterly campaigns, and most recently collaborations with Kingston School of Art, which featured in May’s edition of Creative Review. All work created was from scratch, so project management and being creative on a relatively small budget was essential. With two years
of line management experience, I consider myself to be an encouraging creative leader who aims to inspire and mentor junior designers. Other tasks included delivering on a variety of brand identity projects, which involved producing presentations, brand guidelines and bespoke B2B brochures.
