I currently work as a Design Assistant to the owner of the business, Alexandra. This includes design work where I help with scheming and sourcing of items. I schedule all deliveries around fitting days both UK and abroad and manage all customer concerns or queries. In addition to this I work on the company’s marketing strategy and social media. The company has been running for 25 years on recommendation only and I have been tasked with introducing the company to social media and home and lifestyle magazines.
Working closely with our PR and Social Media agency, I managed all PR and Social activity ranging from day to day media requests to larger campaign ideas. I also have worked with the in-store marketing team updating all POS in line with main campaigns and any overlays. This includes writing all communications to our 180 stores and large briefing packs for DMs. Most enjoyably I worked on set of our photo shoots behind camera. Designing mood/story boards in relation to the key messages an items being portrayed. I worked to style these shoots on budget and sometimes on extremely tight deadlines. Most of our shots were to move the business into more of the home and lifestyle magazines and be seen as a higher end brand.
