My professional goal is to collaborate on preserving and disseminating the cultural legacy of humanity through art. During my bachelor’s, I have studied the theoretical and technical perspectives of museum practices which gave a useful skillset to deal with artworks. Moreover, my interest in contemporary art has led me to research and reflect on the process of creating art and the relation about artists and their artworks during my Master’s. Currently, interdisciplinary forms of art manifestations are the ones the attract me the most and I believe that art can flourish in society in many ways, and not only in museums.

During classes, we discussed relevant matters such as the social and political role of museums in the twentieth-first century which made me reflect on how these institutions face such dilemmas. Under the supervision of Dr. Helen Westgeest, I explored in my thesis the practice of preserving performance art from a museological perspective.
