- Project ManagerIn addition to my day-to-day tasks outlined above, in 2011 I founded Country Road’s first Industry Collaboration with RMIT University’s Textile Program. Giving the students the opportunity to work to an industry brief and CR the opportunity to purchase innovative print designs from students for production. This role was completed outside of my general work hours.

Owned by Woolworths Holdings Ltd (SA) and part of Country Road Group with over 400 employees in head office it offers quality clothing, accessories and homewares across Man, Woman, Child and Home. Over a five year period I worked my way up within Country Road, initially joining the company in 2010 a freelance print designer for Childrenswear and leaving in 2015 as an established Studio Manager responsible for managing the workload of four Print designers as well as the design and development of printed textile ranges for Womenswear.

Duties:
• High standard of verbal, written and presentation skills;
• Reception duties, includes client facing and operating busy switchboard with confident telephone manner;
• Ability to stay calm in a fast paced environment;
• Point of contact for high profile clients on arrival for meetings;
• Managed all internal and external meetings using Microsoft Outlook to coordinate meeting rooms;
• Assisted in creating and editing presentations using Powerpoint/ inDesign..
• Coordinated local and international print jobs, clearly communicating deadlines and outlining delivery requirements;

• Diary management of international and domestic print supplier schedule for the Managing Director & Designers;
• Experience liaising with members of Senior Management in a fast paced environment;
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Organised in house & overseas supplier meetings for managing director and design team, booked hotel/ meeting rooms, created itineraries noting different time zone etc.
• Extensive diary management, managing briefs and deadlines for three full time textile designers;
• Communicated deadlines and briefs via meetings, emails and outlook calendars;
• On boarded additional freelancers, managed intern requests and HR paper work;
• Oversaw monthly department projects, negotiated daily deadlines and communicated briefs to designers;
• Constantly reprioritized timelines with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills;
• Ability to interpret briefs creatively, problem solve, react to changing client needs and keep calm under pressure.
• Created bi-annual trend presentations using Adobe InDesign, presented content to MD, GM, buyers and designers;
