During my masters, I worked as a Student Ambassador for the University of Strathclyde’s library.
The position entailed handling enquiries; working with library staff to improve student services through focus groups; and supporting the work of the larger department with database searches, cataloguing products, and stacking shelves.

I joined the Digital Health and Wellness Research group within the Computer Science department at the University of Strathclyde for my first research position.
I worked with a small multidisciplinary team to evaluate service implementation in health and social care in Scotland. This involved using data and user feedback to define and refine content.
I attended workshops on the effective use of communication styles, public speaking, and writing for the public.
I presented on the two projects at a university-wide conference, organised stakeholder meetings, managed relationships with stakeholders via email and phone, and I created reports for funders.
I conducted mixed-methods research by interviewing stakeholders, mapping patient pathways through services and reviewing the market and literature evidence for two devices.
