Dealing with customer services, orders, logistics and queries ranging from information on vintages and alternative wine varieties, price differentials and current discounts. A supplier of over 1500 different types of wine and spirits to customers throughout the UK and internationally including parts of India. Problem solving is a substantial part of this role, having to act promptly and make quick decisions efficiently. Liaising with an extensive team of customer facing wine representatives and senior directors on a daily basis, placing orders for them and processing credit notes and organising the delivery of wine to restaurants, events and hotels. Working very closely with stock controllers. The working environment is high pressured and high attention to detail is key. The need to remain calm and highly organised, at all times, to ensure maximum efficiency is extremely important.
