I am an extremely personable and confident person who finds it easy to create and maintain new contacts. I am highly proficient in completing tasks, and can work very well within a group or alone. I know a great deal about social media, mainly due to controlling the online activity of various accounts, which includes dissecting data in order to find new ways of increasing engagement and activity. I have also been responsible for various online campaigns, which have proven to be highly successful such as identifying key blogs, and YouTube channels for Artist Single releases. For my 3rd year University Project I designed, edited, researched and produced a magazine called ‘Industry Wise’. This project was instrumental in giving me the key skills you need in order to work in the Publishing/Journalism industry. I managed to come up with an innovative idea for a new magazine, design the logo and general look of the magazine, find and interview the appropriate people for the magazine, think of and create interesting and relevant copy, sub-edit features and interviews, get the right permissions for use of photographs, take my own photographs as well as making sure all of the right legal forms and releases were signed and submitted. I also created a Food magazine based on new recipes, restaurant reviews, new food crazes, features on chefs, and start up culinary businesses. Furthermore, I maintained a street food blog and a new music blog, which were both successful. I possess very good communication skills, as well as being able to adapt them to any situation I am put into, which I feel is an imperative trait for any employee. I have these skills due to working a number of years within different customer service industries. I have had to deal with and resolve many situations whilst always retaining a high level of professionalism. From my experience of working as assistant manager at The Beehive Pub in Epping Green, I have learnt how to liaise with key distributors, how to manage a team of up to 10 people, retain incredibly high standards, as well as making sure all costs are kept within key guidelines. My experience has also taught me how to remain calm under pressure, furthermore It has also shown me that keen organization and attention to detail are vital for any establishment to be successful. I think that I would be perfect for the role that I am applying for, as I am not only extremely diligent with everything that I do, I am also an enthusiastic and approachable person with a willingness to further the reputation of any company that I work for. I will give 100% to any task I am given, with the motivation to further my knowledge and in doing so my career.Locked Pro Plan feature
