Melkweg is one of the most popular venues in Amsterdam, where established names can be seen alongside new talent and emerging styles get the chance to reach a broader audience. Each year, hundreds of concerts, club nights, (music) films, theatre performances, expositions and multidisciplinary events together attract more than 400,000 visitors.
My responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the promotion of most of the shows scheduled to take place at Melkweg in the Urban genre (think 6LACK, Snoh Aalegra, IAMDDB and Kiana Lede to name a few), managing and rebranding the various dedicated Hip-hop social mediaplatforms and supervising the dedicated Hip-hop Music Marketing intern.
