• Automated the release process for the legacy application. Software is deployed in 2 weeks cycles. We never broke the cadence. Working together with the test team and introduced automatic generation (from VSTS/GIT) of Release Content aiding the testing of individual changes in the INTEGRATION environment. This listing of work items is also used for the Request for Change, required for the PROD release. • Organised and performed the Production releases and attended the bi-weekly CAB meetings. • For the new platform (LTTP) updated the release pipeline and created the release content report. Created the scripts to allow hotfixes to be created. • Documented the complete release process. • Trained my deputies for cover when I was on holiday. • Advised the developers what process to follow for late arrivals of changes and how to deploy any hotfixes into PROD. • Maintained VSTS – permissioning users, updating process for work items, updating pipelines, … • Provided monthly release statistics to my manager and VSTS user listing to the security team. • For the yearly auditing process, I provided the required information and documentation to the auditors.

• Introduced automation for account creation after environment refreshes from Production. After the ORCALE database has been refreshed, various tasks are now automated and executed through G3 saving several hours and eliminating manual processing. • Written code to create a Skinny DB by deleting unwanted data shrinking the PROD DB from 1.5TB to 500GB. This saves 2-3 days manual work. • Written code to remove application and ORACLE accounts, which are no longer in use. • Automated creation of WAR files through PowerShell script which eliminates errors during manual creating saving 2 hours. • Defect investigation and solution, which involves WAS, ORACLE, DataStage, Control-M (scheduling tool). • ORACLE 12c upgrade • TOMCAT Proof of Concept. As TOMCAT is the preferred J2RE for CorB 3. It saved many hours of investigation by the WebSphere admin team.
