Ronnie Bugay is an award-winning filmmaker and creative producer from Bonn. He began working for the Guild Theater, Whitesell Auditorium, and Hollywood Theater in Portland, Oregon. He received his degrees in digital design and film from Pacific Northwest College of Arts and NWFilm Center in Portland. Among other things, Ronnie received a diploma in directing, production in fiction and VFX film from the SAE INSTITUTE Cologne. Ronnie started out as an intern with Brand Name Productions LLC (BNP) in Portland. Where he got his experience as a filmmaker / producer. He worked on various projects such as The Bridal Show, Wind Jammer Documentary for Discovery Channel and worked, recruiting photoshoots with NBA Blazer.
Ronnie is multilingual and speaks German, Tagalog, English and understands Spanish. He worked for the German production broadcaster Center. TV- and Mindmatics Media AG, KreatiFILM and the leading TV-Prost Produktion Creation Club (CC) which is now part of the Plaza Media Group and Filmproduktion Bavaria Film Studios "Storm of Love" Telenovela - TV show. Ronnie has worked on numerous indie short and long films, documentaries, music videos and corporate. For e-entertainment "Red Carpet Broadcasting" TV shows - German Idol "Germany Sucht den Superstar" PromiBoxen Pro7. Ronnie also works as a media journalist. He also worked on projects as 2nd assistant producer and director in Vancouver and Toronto. Ronnie also lived on Fuerteventura "Canary Islands" and in Andalusia, Spain and worked as an Excu. worked together in Bonn Headquarters and with numerous other NGO organizations.

He started out playing in several alternative rock bands in Mexico but at the turn of the century he decided to become a solo artist. This has led him to explore new possibilities for his artistic vision where latin folk and alternative rock seamlessly merge in a whirlwind of sonic energy. His vocal abilities have astounded many, not only by of its sheer strength and contrasting dynamics, but also because of the acute sensibility in which he delivers his passionate melodies. Enhanced by a soulful and explosive approach to guitar playing, LIO is a force to reckon with.
