About me

Hola! I’m Raquel, a graphic designer with a strong interest in Illustration and Motion design. For the past 3 years I’ve worked as a graphic designer in a well known UX agency. I make sure the implementation of the brand is consistent and I create visual content to accompany its marketing presence on social media and events. My experience in branding and my education have given me a good and solid background on Graphic Design. I’m passionate about the use of colour, typography, layouts and motion. I believe these skills are transferable and key on User Experience design. Being part of a UX agency has given me the opportunity to work as a UX designer on pitches and be part of projects helping clients like Sky, Virgin or Adobe. I’ve become very confident with the UI side of things and I want to keep learning and uncover all the nuts and bolts of UX.

  #FOLLOWBALLET#FollowBallet is the creative response to the YCN 2016/2017 Awards in which The Royal Opera House asks participants to come up with a creative idea that dismiss and challenge the perception that young people has of ballet. By bringing together social media and movement, #FollowBallet dispels the preconceptions around ballet as an old-fashioned, boring and formal art form, and instead it promotes it as a bold, fresh, alive and contemporary option.
