Interpet was a fast-paced and highly innovative environment which saw my time mainly split between brand management and marketing for consumer and trade. I managed a portfolio of brands across the UK, US and Europe. This involved managing different commercial websites -indirectly supporting customer care with updates and ongoing maintenance- creating and supplying written product material, sales sheets, catalogues and digital assets using in-house photography and Adobe Photoshop. This environment forced me to strategically work through tasks, balancing time in conjunction with resources to make the most commercially viable decisions. I liaised with creative agencies on POS and installation designs; briefing specialists on film, animation, photography and exhibition trade show projects. Additionally, I worked with PR agencies, co-managing several product exposures for both trade and consumer and worked on product support and training videos.

I managed and informed a team alongside the store manager, overseeing the rota, sick days and holiday requests. I was expected to write both daily and weekly reports where I had to give qualitative and quantitative feedback. This consisted of an analytical description of how the store was doing against its targets, competitors and highlighting KPI’s in need of further improvement. I dealt with all customer enquiries and complaints, and I was in constant communication with other stores as well as head office, helping to relay messages, amend stock and transfer requests.
