I am a freelance art curator and art writer, with more than ten years of experience working and collaborating with mainstream art institutions in Spain, Seoul, and London. I have strong organisational and administrative skills, as well as I have extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and CMS and database systems such as Salesforce, Oracle and Filemaker Pro. I have gained vast experience in researching, writing and managing projects and fundraising. I am able to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish.
As a researcher, art curator, and writer, I am interested in decolonial discourses within contemporary art practices from the Global South, mainly from Africa and Latin America, and how they resist the trends set by Globalisation. I am specially sensitive to women experiences and notions of transnational feminisms, and how contemporary art practices echo them. I tend to work collaboratively to open up participative processes to generate novel inclusive and progressive art narratives.
