I work as a freelance broadcast Assistant on a variety of Radio 4 news programmes such as Broadcasting House, PM, World This Weekend and The Today Programme. In the role, I help keep with the logistics, book travels, accommodation, studios, and complete admin of the show. I also edit podcasts, greet guests and help the team in during the shows with various requests.

In this role, I support the production team with requests such as going on runs, create & file purchasing orders, making ID passes for production crew, updating unit lists, managing floats, provide hospitality support for the team. When needed I acted as a base runner, taking direction from the 2nd AD, particularly with the logistics of the cast. I also acted as the floor runner working in the studio, helping the 3rd AD, with tasks like escorting cast and locking off the set.
